This silver-based product (Ag 40% by weight) is a quaternary alloy with
silver, copper, zinc and tin. The presence of zinc and tin, with the
same silver content as other alloys, lowers the solidus point, reduces
the melting range and ensures more uniform melting of the filler
material during brazing. The high zinc content guarantees good
wettability of the molten metal especially in the case of ferrous
substrates. The product does not contain cadmium in compliance with the
RoHS directive.
